Updating Prophet In Outlook
Hosted by Avidian?
Please first verify that your version is hosted by Avidian.
In Outlook, select Opportunity Manager (or others) and click Prophet's Tools button to open Prophet Administrator.
If you are set to use an "On Premise server", please contact a Prophet Administrator, your IT or Avidian Support.
Prophet Update Service
Click the dropdown arrow on Prophet's Help button, click "Update Prophet" and click "Check For Prophet Updates"
If the Prophet Update Service shows that an update is available, continue through the steps.
If the update fails:
If you are not a Windows Administrator on your computer, please have your IT do the update using the steps farther below.
If you are a Windows Admin, please contact Avidian Support.
You can check which version you have by clicking the dropdown arrow on Prophet's help button and click About Prophet.
Download and Update
If you are not a Windows Administrator on your PC, please have your IT install the update. If you're not sure, you can try and the installation will check.
Close all Outlook windows and run it.
If your IT ran the installation, once you're logged back into Windows, you can run this from File Explorer, or click Start and paste it into the "search" field.
C:\Program Files\Avidian Technologies\Prophet\ConfigureProphetClient.exe
Click OK in the little window.
