"Reset Pwd" giving "Refused to Connect" error on the Admin Website for customers with their Own On Premise Prophet Server

Notice

This article is only for customers that have their own Prophet server and who already have a Support ticket.

Problem

Customers with their own Prophet server might get an error when trying to reset users passwords from within the Admin Website.

Workaround

Use the "Forgot your password?" link on the login page of https://ProphetOnDemand.com

Even though this is not your company's Admin website, the password reset will work.

It will also work from most On Premise Admin website login pages, but some configurations block sending the message to Avidian's registration server.

Solution

Please make a backup copy of these files:

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\prophet\admin\Saas\Ajaxmodal.js

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\prophet\admin\Include\Ajaxmodal.js

Replace them with the attached file.

Restart IIS.

Note that this will kick all Prophet users off and changes in Progress won't save.

Users might need to restart Outlook to reconnect.

Test the Reset Pwd link when logged into the Admin website.

Support can be online during your update and testing.  Please coordinate through your Support Ticket.
