Missing Reports or Templates. What Files are not in Avidian Cloud? What does Avidian Backup?

Problem

You don't have the same Reports or Templates as other Prophet Users.

Cause and Details

All "Prophet" database is backed up daily.

Prophet data includes all Outlook contact data plus any customized data added for Prophet Use.

Also, all Company and Opportunity data is Prophet only and saved in the database.

Prophet's database does not include Outlook items including e-mails, appointments or tasks.  They are listed in Prophet by asking Outlook to Search
 
Note that if your company takes advantage of Prophet's "Shared Folders" feature, Outlook items that are linked to Opportunities will also be copied to Public folders.

File Generation quotes and Report files are unique to each Prophet user's PC. They are saved in Documents\Avidian Technologies\Prophet\Reports.

It is possible to attach Files to Prophet Companies, Contacts and Opportunities. They could be on local or shared directories. They are also not duplicated in Prophet's Database.

Solution

You can copy the file from Documents\Avidian Technologies\Prophet\Reports from one PC to another.

It is also possible to keep a network drive with the files and have each user point to them in Prophet's Settings.  Please contact Support for details.
